Miguel Solis

HELLO! My name is Miguel Solis and I am the Director of Prayer and Lit at Newman and Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. I am born and raised in San Diego, California (Best City in the World) and currently double major in International Affairs and Computer Science. I love to swim and cook, and I also love my dog (His name is Professor Fluffy Paws) and I love eating all the delicious foods of the world. 

I knew of Newman in my Freshman year, but didn’t really become super involved until my Sophomore year, when I found a super cool community at Newman with lots of cool people and friends. Since then, I’ve had a great time at service events helping out in our community and hanging out and meeting new people (I’m also a big fan of the free food every Tuesday). I’m looking forward to a year of service to God and our community! You can usually find me on the couch at Newman or at our weekly bible study.
