Thousands of Catholics from all over the city and country will gather at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception the night before the National March for Life to pray for the end of abortion and respect of the dignity of life. Join us for the Mass for Life at Saint Matthew's Cathedral prior to the March for Life (Fr. James will be the homilist). Join us in the Newman Chapel for prayer. We will be saying a rosary at 1 pm and there will be adoration from 5-7 pm.
Beginning with Mass at 9 AM, GWU students will gather with students and missionaries from AU to minister to homeless citizens in the area. The students will be mixed and divided into groups to be sent off to specific locations (within walking distance) to minister to homeless citizens for an hour and a half. Afterwards, everyone will return to Newman to share testimonies, ending approximately at 12 PM.
Join us for the first student mass of the semester from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at St. Stephen Martyr! After mass, there will be a free dinner downstairs in the St. Stephen's Crystal Room. All are welcome!
